  1. As many too often forget, science is not a body of objective knowledge. Instead, it is a methodology, the end product of which is subject to interpretation. Interwoven in the midst of most situations–as is certainly true of the climate change debate–is that little thing called belief, which, for better or worse, always trumps science.
