We’re back, but slow. . .very, very slow

Both bladder and prostate were malignant, and it’s spread to the lymph nodes.

Surgery was long and extensive, and we spent the first six days in the hospital, followed by a stay in a nursing home almost as traumatic as the surgery [of which we'll have much, much more to say].

One positive thing: The cancer weight loss diet [down 20+ pounds].

i read this with interest. Well yeesh, what, they couldve left you the fun of pissing? Jesus H Christ, friend. ….So, um, these are the good times?
I certainly want to read what you have to say about nursing homes and will share and promote it. Doncha hate how people can abuse the tiniest power?
Wtf! I hope Im not abusing my own power here by saying the wrong thing. Well of course I’m saying the wrong thing. Jeez I’m sorry.

I guess the good news is, we’re not out in the rain, sleeping in doorways and being arrested for it. Sorry but it’s pouring out there and up to 12 inches are expected a bit northwest of Sacramento, where there are people living in that.

I sure hope for some comforts for you right now. Hey since I didnt get to gove you anything, want some books? I find myself pointlessly angry on your behalf, as if that matters. Skewer those nursing home motherfuckers! Name names!

Wtf! I hope Im not abusing my own power here, saying the wrong thing. Well of course I’m saying the wrong thing. Jeez I’m sorry, certainly in the sense of feeling sorrow. Hate being a jerk at a time like this, when you were so cool about uncovering both UC and BPD police records when two homeless had bones broken. Now I owe you NINE lunches.
Guess the only good news is, we’re not out in the rain, sleeping in doorways and being arrested for it. Sorry but it’s pouring out there and up to 12 inches are expected a bit northwest of Sacramento, where people are living in that. When appalled, reference the weather. Ever want to go out in that with me distributing dry hats and sleeping bags I am all ears. Really: Every day I look more like Ross Perot. Sad thing on a chick.
I sure hope for some comforts for you right now, Richard. Hey since I didnt get to give you anything, want some books? I find myself pointlessly angry on your behalf, as if that matters. Skewer those nursing home motherfuckers! Name names!

  4. Positive thoughts for recovery – and thank you for keeping your readers informed! On the plus side, you’re lucky to be there and not here (Burundi, central Africa) in the midst of rather basic health facilities…
Looking forward to learning about the NURSING home!

  5. I’m glad to see you back in action and sorry to hear of the down side. As Woody Allen once said, “Life is hard and then you die.”

It is what you do that counts, Your role has been digging out and reporting what people need to know and at that you have achieved mastery. Thank you, and carry on.
