While most of the world’s attention is focused on Sunday’s parliamentary elections in Greece, there’s another vote Sunday.
Sunday’s runoff election will decide whether or not President François Hollande commands a majority in the National Assembly. France 24 Politics host Marc Perelman interviews two first-time candidates, Socialist Capuchine Edou and Charles Beigbeder from Nicolas Sarkozy’s UMP [Union pour un Mouvement Populaire].
While it’s nearly certain that Hollande’s Socialists will capture the largest share of votes, it’s still a question of whether or not the Socialists will have to form a coalition — and with which parties.
